CARTWRIGHT COMMUNICATIONS APPOINTED TO LAUNCH NATIONAL HOTEL BRAND

Two new hotels under the Accor brand are the latest brands to appoint Midlands PR and digital agency Cartwright Communications.

The scheme, owned by Leicester-based developer Charles Street Buildings Group, comprises two hotels and a restaurant that are centrally located on the newly developed Great Central Square site in Leicester.

The Adagio Aparthotel will offer 98 long-stay, fully serviced apartments while the Novotel will be a luxury full-service hotel with 154 bedrooms and suites, offering high-end meeting rooms and event spaces. The Novotel will also house the new, independently owned restaurant NineB, which will serve a modern British menu to both hotel guests and the local community. The scheme will be managed by Interstate Hotels & Resorts.

The Nottingham-based PR agency will be supporting with the launch of all three establishments, issuing press content and managing media relations with site visits and exclusive first look previews, to increase regional and national coverage.

Novotel and Adagio Leicester will also receive digital support from Cartwright with an influencer campaign that will run alongside the launch.

Rachel Cullis Dorsett, director at Cartwright Communications and head of the account, says, “Cartwright has a wealth of experience in the retail and leisure sector with a portfolio of big-name clients such Intu, Lincolnshire Showground and Belvoir Castle. It’s great that we are being recognised for our expertise in the industry and we are looking forward to delivering another successful campaign for a high-profile brand.”

As well as supporting with the launch of the hotels and restaurant, Cartwright will also be working to publicise the amenities available to both visitors and residents in Leicester.

Dorsett adds, “It’s important that, while many of our efforts will be focused on the opening, we must also promote the meeting spaces and restaurant as a destination for local residents and Leicester’s important corporate community - to provide the hotels with a mixture of clientele. We want to give the project the recognition it deserves and, by targeting key titles and working with influencers in the region, we plan to raise the company’s regional profile across the UK.”

The opening will create 70 plus jobs in all aspects of hotel operations from finance and revenue management to human resources and training.
