ABSOLUTE APPOINTED AS BRAND AND DIGITAL PARTNER FOR YORK ST JOHN UNIVERSITY

York St John University has launched a refreshed image and identity, thanks to Bolton-based brand and digital agency, Absolute.

Since winning a competitive pitch for the new York St John website in October 2018, Absolute has been an integral part of the team for the university, collaborating to build upon a creative proposition that enables the institution to stand out, and project its unique character and strengths to a growing market. 

Simon Allman, creative director of Absolute, says, “It became quite clear from our first meeting with the client that they had a great creative vision for the university. Working closely with their team, we've taken that vision and developed a brand style and essence that elevates the university and makes it more attractive to its audience, giving it more authentic and relevant style."

York St John University commissioned Absolute to develop online brand guidelines to give colleagues across the university a clearer understanding of the creative vision and brand narrative underpinning the university’s development. This supported the launch of a bold suite of new brand collateral.

The brand’s initial launch in February 2019 included refreshed brand assets and a video that demonstrates the university’s strengths and reflects the new creative direction. Later in the year, the launch of the full version of the new website will complement the institution’s digital transformation.
