MANIFESTO APPOINTED BY DUNDEE UNIVERSITY TO LEAD NEW DIGITAL PROJECT
Manifesto, the award-winning London-based digital agency, has been appointed by the University of Dundee to lead a new digital project following an intensive procurement process.
The three-year project will rebuild the university’s existing website and improve the digital experience for users to ensure it meets their changing needs.
Manifesto will work alongside the University of Dundee to create a powerful and creative platform which will appeal to new students, promote university research outputs and attract partners as well as extending its mission to transform lives both locally and globally through the creation, sharing and application of knowledge. The back-end of the new website will also allow the digital team to model content, publish to the web and support the delivery of content to multiple different endpoints.
Following an in depth, discovery, planning and technical phase, Manifesto will provide an end to end service modelled on Drupal 8, including content, design and consistent templating. Manifesto will work closely with the university, embedding themselves in the team to ensure that the final website positions the University for future growth and ensures that the objectives of the project are fully achieved.
Jim Bowes, CEO of Manifesto, says, “At a point when the higher education sector is undergoing a rapid change when it comes to digital transformation, we’re excited to be collaborating with the team at the University of Dundee to deliver a service that meets the digital expectations of future generations. Our experience of working alongside national tourist attractions, charities and public bodies means we are well placed to be able to deliver a new website which will optimise the user experience and offer a more customised journey for visitors to the University’s website.”
Andrew Millar, head of web services at the University of Dundee, adds, "We wanted a partner that would not only enhance our existing capabilities but wherever possible transfer knowledge into the team. Manifesto are an agency that have worked with large charities, local and central government as well as a variety of other companies. What impressed us most was how far they go to not only understand their clients, but to embed themselves in teams as they deliver projects."
