ITALIAN HERITAGE FOOD BRAND DIFORTI APPOINTS PLUS 1 COMMUNICATIONS TO TELL THEIR FAMILY’S STORY

Italian online delicatessen Diforti have joined forces with integrated storytelling agency Plus 1 Communications to share their legacy and passion for Italian food with the British public.

Founded in 1875 in the tiny Sicilian village of Caltanissetta, the Diforti family business has been handed down from generation to generation. In 2005, Carlo and Andrea Diforti took over from their father Giulio as Directors of the company, and set their sights on the UK market, positioning Diforti as the go-to online Italian deli. The brothers are on a mission to give Brits the very best in Italian cuisine and with support from Plus 1 Communications, Diforti are set to become the most recognised Italian food brand in Britain.

Diforti’s ethos is based around traditional family values and their Italian heritage, which is at the centre of everything they produce. The brothers personally develop each offering with specially selected suppliers in order to give their trade and retail customers a truly unique product. 

Directors Carlo and Andrea Diforti, say, “Italian culture is very much focused on good food. We want to be able to share our modern adaptations of the Diforti family recipes with the UK.
