INTERTRONICS APPOINTS STONE JUNCTION TO MANAGE TECHNICAL PR CAMPAIGN
Oxfordshire-based adhesive specialist Intertronics has appointed technical PR agency Stone Junction to manage its scientific PR campaign. The campaign will communicate Intertronics’ industry expertise and outstanding customer service.
Intertronics was first established in 1979 as a supplier of products for the printed circuit board assembly industry. Since then, managing director Peter Swanson and the team have built the company’s customer base to over 3,000 regular customers including manufacturers, universities and government establishments. It now supplies to a range of technology-based industries including the medical device, aerospace and automotive manufacturing industries.
The company sells adhesives, coatings and sealants, as well as equipment and accessories for surface preparation and for mixing, applying, dispensing and curing these materials. In addition to being a supplier, the company offers insightful technical and applications guidance to existing and potential customers and prides itself in its provision of post-sales support.
Customers that place their orders with Intertronics before 3pm receive stocked products the next day. Furthering its commitment to advanced technical support, Intertronics offers hands on demonstrations and trials at its Technology Centre in Oxfordshire.
“Stone Junction’s clients are all in the science, technology and engineering sector, which demonstrates the agency’s knowledge of these industries and experience with the relevant media,” explained Swanson. “We think that Stone Junction is well equipped to work with us to communicate our expertise, viewpoints and products to the people that are interested in our business.”
“In our Stone Junction team we have six science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) degrees and eleven Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) members, two of which are chartered,” explained Richard Stone, managing director of Stone Junction. “This gives us the knowledge and experience needed to communicate Intertronics’ core messages in an authoritative and effective way.
