CJ SKINHEALTH APPOINT PROMOTE PR TO RAISE BRAND AWARENESS
Skincare specialist CJ Skinhealth has appointed specialist sports and fitness communications agency Promote PR, to raise the brand profile and drive consumer awareness for its premium skincare range.
Launched in September 2018 following a five-year development process, CJ Skinhealth has been created specifically for people who enjoy active lifestyles. The founders of CJ Skinhealth worked exclusively with Bianchi Dama, one of the UK’s leading elite female cycling teams to develop the skincare products.
Launching initially with two skincare products, Active Cleanse and Enhance & Protect, CJ Skinhealth have developed unique and innovative proprietary formulations to cleanse, enhance, protect and repair the skin. Active Cleanse and Enhance & Protect are designed to be the only two skincare products needed by active people. Active Cleanse does not need water so can be used anywhere and anytime to clean skin. The SPF 30 sunscreen in Enhance & Protect is unique because it doesn't run into the eyes when people sweat and it doesn't cause spots.
Dama’s team of nine riders put the products to the test as they worked during the day, trained in the evenings and competed at the weekend, and were instrumental in providing feedback on product benefits. The innovation team at CJ Skinhealth were seriously challenged by Bianchi Dama's brief for what they needed, and the brand is proud to say that no other skincare range has ever been developed with such active involvement from an elite racing team.
Sarah King, Bianchi Dama rider and road captain, says, “These products have become part of the team’s everyday skincare routines as well as being used during training and racing. I trust that the products are looking after my skin during everything it goes through as we cycle in all weathers and that can really take its toll. Promote’s remit encompasses media relations, influencer engagement, content creation and social media.
