BOUTIQUE NORTHERN AGENCY WINS HOUSEHOLD NAMES & ANNOUNCES EXPANSION

Newcastle-based digital performance agency Silverbean has announced a raft of new client wins, including international megabrands L’Oreal Group UKI, Clarks and HelloFresh.

The wins come after a period of sustained growth for the agency, which has seen headcount increase by 35% and client revenue increase again by 35% since 2016. The agency’s affiliate service has been a particular area of growth, with client revenue up by 50% and head count more than double that of last year.

Louise James, head of affiliates at Silverbean, said, “2018 has seen our affiliate offering go from strength to strength. Adding these household names to our client roster only demonstrates the first class expertise we offer in the agency. We are looking forward to working with L’Oreal, Clarks and HelloFresh and making big gains to their digital performance in coming campaigns.”

L’Oreal Group UKI has appointed Silverbean as affiliate marketing service agency following a successful tender process. International footwear giant Clarks have appointed Silverbean for affiliate, PPC and SEO campaigns to consolidate its global digital presence and increase customer engagement online. Additionally, international meal-kit brand HelloFresh has signed with Silverbean’s affiliate and outreach services to undertake a creative content marketing campaign that will reach new audiences in the UK and Europe.

The news comes as Silverbean announce that they are looking to expand their physical presence, with a new office in Teesside set to open in the coming months. Neil Robbins, agency MD, said, “Our success in the North East shows that the Northern Powerhouse is still alive and well in digital. We are proud to work with clients from all over the world, and believe that expanding our presence in the region will boost our talent pool and offering.”

“The North East is a fantastic place to live, work and invest. With several top-class universities producing brilliant digital talent, a supportive and diverse business environment and lower living costs than elsewhere in the UK, we are proud to represent the region on the global marketing stage.”
