PRCA APPOINTS TONY LANGHAM AS A MEMBER OF ITS BOARD OF MANAGEMENT
The PRCA is pleased to announce that Tony Langham has been appointed to the PRCA board of management.
Langham co-founded communications consultancy Lansons in 1989 and has advised governments, organisations and companies on their image and reputation for over 30 years. He is chief executive of Lansons and retains an active consultancy role across a range of clients including, recently, the Co-operative Bank, the FCA, Metro Bank and the Isle of Man Government. He also chairs four organisations including Great British Racing, UK horse racing’s official marketing and promotional body.
In 2015 he chaired the PRCA’s PR and Communications Council, the think tank for the UK PR and communications industry, where he ran the ‘economics of reputation’ campaign, which highlighted the impact of reputation on the bottom line.
Langham says, “I am really pleased to become a member of the PRCA board of management as I’m a huge admirer of the work Francis and his colleagues do to continue improving standards across the industry. The PRCA plays a hugely important role in PR and communications and I relish the opportunity to play a part.”
Francis Ingham , Director General, PRCA, adds, “It is with great pleasure that we welcome Tony to the PRCA board of management, who is a well-respected and much admired figure in the world of corporate communications, reputation management, and crisis communications.”
