HOTWIRE APPOINTS FIRST DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE STRATEGY
Global communications agency Hotwire has appointed Adele Breen as its first director of corporate strategy. As a member of the Hotwire UK board, Breen is responsible for overseeing the business’ focus on emerging sectors and for delivering specialist analyst relations, crisis comms and executive comms projects.
Reporting to UK MD, Matt Cross, Breen will work with existing clients and prospects to build tailored communications programs that push for further alignment between business strategy, R&D, sales, partner ecosystems and support teams. With experience managing communications around major change projects, Breen’s appointment benefits clients working to streamline complex and often convoluted messaging.
Previously a director at AxiCom, Breen draws on her extensive experience leading global and regional corporate, B2B communications and analyst relations programmes for clients including Dell, Red Hat, Neustar, Orange and Criteo. Breen’s mandate is to bolster Hotwire’s corporate capabilities in the UK, but her work will extend into other markets and global teams.
Matt Cross, UK MD at Hotwire says, “We’re thrilled to welcome Adele to the Hotwire team. We are constantly looking for ways to challenge our own thinking, and bringing together some of the best talent in the industry is a critical part of that. In the last couple of months alone we have appointed John Mahoney as our global chief client officer, and now Adele builds out our corporate skills in the UK and beyond.”
Breen says, “Hotwire is an ambitious and relentlessly proactive company with a stated commitment to being the best agency that clients will ever work with. Its global reach means it supports clients as businesses grow and evolve, and getting messaging right at the corporate level is critical in realising that growth. It’s a very exciting time to be at Hotwire.”
