ENGAGE BY BELL POTTINGER WINS QATAR AIRWAYS BRIEF

Qatar Airways has appointed Engage by Bell Pottinger as its consumer and corporate communications agency for the UK market.

The retained brief includes developing and delivering a range of creative campaigns for the airline, which currently flies from Heathrow, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh, as well as managing the press office.

The appointment is a major addition to Engage by Bell Pottinger’s travel, transport and tourism portfolio, which also includes a major tourism destination, market-leading tour operator, two airports, a new tourism development and the leading in-flight entertainment provider.

Qatar Airways’ country manager for the UK & Ireland, Morena Bronzetti, says, “Engage by Bell Pottinger’s longstanding experience in the airline and travel sectors will be crucial in communicating the value and benefit of Qatar Airways’ services to a wide range of UK stakeholders."

The account is overseen by Charlie Hampton, a Partner at Engage by Bell Pottinger with 20 years of aviation and travel experience, and led by Philip Pank, former transport correspondent of the Times newspaper.
