BANG & OLUFSEN APPOINTS CUBO TO DEVELOP UK STRATEGY
Bang & Olufsen, the luxury Danish consumer electronics company, announced it is working with independent London based creative agency Cubo, to help develop its marketing strategy in the UK.
Bang & Olufsen turned to Cubo and the agency’s proprietary research tool, Headspace, to inform the direction of the strategy. This offers a deeper insight into UK consumers, and identifies the cues that bring a brand to mind when they are considering a product purchase.
Headspace has given Bang & Olufsen unrivalled insight into how they can apply the latest marketing theories to acquire more customers and improve return on investment. Cubo is now applying the findings of the initial strategic project to deliver an effective marketing plan and harder working creative that resonates with the local market.
Andy Macer, head of sales UK&I, Bang & Olufsen, says, "At Bang & Olufsen we’re always looking for new ways to optimise our marketing investments. From our initial meeting, it was clear that the team at Cubo not only had the passion to make a difference but the right approach and mix of skills to deliver that difference. Headspace has already given us some fantastic insights into the minds of UK consumers and we’re looking forward to what else we can uncover working with Cubo."
Joe Rolls, group account director, Cubo, adds, "We’re thrilled to be working with Bang & Olufsen as the team embarks on a concerted push on the UK market. We aim to provide a genuine step change in their marketing with an intelligent approach that gets more people considering, searching, visiting, trying and ultimately buying their products."
