AMNT APPOINTS LANSONS TO PROVIDE STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT

The Association for Member Nominated Trustees (AMNT) today announces that it has appointed Lansons as its retained corporate communications adviser.

The AMNT is the not-for-profit organisation supporting member-nominated trustees, representing nearly 750 active members, in over 500 schemes, with £700bn of assets – around a third of the occupational pensions sector. Recently, it has championed its Red Line Voting initiative, a new approach to engagement and voting with regard to UK stock market-listed companies.

Lansons will support the organisation with its strategic communications, offering press office and media relations management, bespoke campaign support and assistance in the preparation of consultation and policy documents.

David Weeks, co-chair of the AMNT, says, “We are working to strengthen and broaden our communications programme to match our growing influence in the industry. We are pleased to have appointed Lansons to take our message to a wider audience. We were particularly impressed with their strategic thought and experience in the sector, and look forward to working closely with them to ensure that pension scheme members have a voice.”

Tony Langham, chief executive of Lansons, adds, “We are excited to be working for the AMNT, particularly during what will be very interesting time for the pensions sector and pension scheme trustees.”
