THE VIEW FROM THE SHARD SELECTS DIFFUSION
The View from The Shard, London's newest landmark attraction, has appointed Diffusion as its retained PR agency.
Diffusion, an integrated communications agency, has been briefed to increase the profile of the attraction and promote a series of special installations to visitors throughout this year.
The campaign will first focus on the launch of The View from The Shard’s Summer Botanical Garden, via a series of creative activations across national, consumer lifestyle and travel trade media. Diffusion’s brief includes the development of social campaigns and online influencer engagement, to help the attraction retain its position as a premium destination for local, national and international visitors.
The View from The Shard launched in February of 2013 and at a height of 800ft or 244m, became Western Europe's highest vantage point. It offers visitors a spectacular 360 degree view over London for up to 40 miles and is almost twice as high as any other vantage point in the city; it is the only place where visitors can see the entire city at once. Throughout the past two years, it has expanded its product offering, and the attraction has hosted a diverse range of sell-out experiences from silent discos and yoga mornings, to London’s highest picnics with Fortnum and Mason.
