
SKY APPOINTS ONE GREEN BEAN
Sky has announced the appointment of One Green Bean as the retained consumer PR and social agency for Sky Cycling, in anticipation of their most successful year yet.
One Green Bean, an Australian consumer PR agency part of Havas Worldwide, will aid Sky communicate with its ongoing commitment to cycling and celebrate the role it has played in transforming the activity in the UK. A key part of One Green Bean’s remit will be the launch of a new cycling brand campaign to get even more people to enjoy getting on their bikes.
Their scope also includes showcasing Sky’s relationship with three-time Tour de France winners, Team Sky, as well as promoting Sky’s game-changing partnership with British Cycling, the Great Britain cycling team and WIGGINS. The agency will also launch and provide PR support for Sky Ride – the hugely successful mass participation event now in its final year.
The PR campaign will be closely integrated with content strategy and production for Sky Cycling’s digital and social channels, including influencer and talent outreach and engagement.
One Green Bean’s managing director Matt Buchanan and executive creative director, Kat Thomas will lead the account.
