MHP COMMUNICATIONS AND CABINET DN JOIN FORCES
Two leading public affairs and corporate communications agencies in London and in Brussels have today announced that they are creating a powerful new strategic partnership to further enhance the services they deliver in their respective markets and further afield.
MHP Communications, the biggest public affairs firm in the UK, and one of the UK’s largest PR and communications consultancies, is joining forces with cabinet DN, the leading independent public affairs firm in Brussels, to offer a fully integrated and deeper range of services to existing and prospective clients alike. The two companies have formed an exclusive relationship which will see MHP’s current Brussels operation being amalgamated with the cabinet DN business over the coming months. MHP’s clients with interests in Brussels will be serviced through cabinet DN, and cabinet DN will use MHP for their UK and London-based activities. The companies will also work together on wider international briefs.
MHP and cabinet DN have committed to deepening and expanding their relationship over the coming months, using the immediate synergies of their existing client base to offer strategic advice and practical support on pan-European issues. They will also work together to develop new products and services, target new clients, and increasingly to bring together their operational activities. The MHP and cabinet DN teams will pool their shared knowledge, providing seamlessly integrated teams for clients.
Gavin Devine, chief executive of MHP Communications, said: “We are delighted to be joining forces with cabinet DN and excited about what we will be able to offer to current and future clients. I have known cabinet DN for many years, and I am well aware of its superb reputation in the Brussels market for quality work based on genuine insight and expertise, which neatly fits with MHP’s own strengths. This is the first step on a journey together which we hope will lead to many shared client relationships and an exciting future.”
Jacob Lund Nielsen, managing partner at cabinet DN, said: “We are thrilled to be entering a strategic partnership with MHP Communications, a formidable player on Europe’s most competitive communications market. We believe our combined expertise as consultancies gives us a superb opportunity to offer genuinely industry-leading public and corporate affairs services across the Brussels and London markets. We are pleased to have found partners whose values, approach and ambition matches our own and we look forward to developing our relationship over time.”
