Coutts and National Portrait Gallery: Grayson Perry: Who Are You?
Coutts has long supported the arts industry with sponsorship programmes running over the past 300 years. From Octoober 2014 to March 2015, Coutts was the headline sponsor of the fascinating Grayson Perry: Who are you? exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery.
Grayson Perry's exhibition display featured Britons that embody a particular potent aspect of contemporary British identity. Coutts used its association with the exhibition to highlight its specialist interests – investing through art and philanthropy – while also championing the important role of the arts in the economy. The sponsorship has resulted in almost 300,000 visitors attending the display, with 96% of them would recommend the exhibition to a friends or family.

SCA, Team SCA in the Volvo Ocean Race and the WSSCC: Team SCA in the Volvo Ocean Race
Leading global hygiene and forest products company, SCA, which sells over 80% of the retail products it produces to women, has been running a year-long campaign to raise awareness of women’s health and hygiene issues and to support the empowerment of women. SCA’s goal is to raise both funds and awareness for an important range of female issues as well as create a lasting legacy of support for women worldwide.
The pinnacle of this campaign is SCA’s sponsorship of Team SCA in the Volvo Ocean Race, the first all-female team to take part in the world’s toughest ocean race in the world in more than a decade. The partnership has created hygiene workshops and community engagement sessions around the world. This hard work and perseverance is embodied by the 13-woman strong crew finishing sixth in the 38,739 nautical mile race.
The results of the sponsorship were clear with world press coverage placing SCA firmly to the fore on women’s issues and an estimated 250,000 visitors were educated on hygiene issues during the crew’s stopovers.
